Skiing with your family should be stress free! We want you to make sure that your skiing holiday is as relaxed as possible and hence have the following childcare options available for you to choose from. Choosing what type of childcare you require for your children is a personal choice hence the range from in-house nannies to public crèches. Give yourself some time to enjoy the beautiful skiing available in the Three Valleys and organise your childcare before you arrive in resort.
Family Skiing with Powder N Shine…
For all our chalets in Reberty Village, Les Menuires, we are able to provide access to different levels of childcare, ranging from private nannies in the chalet, local nursery facilities and babysitting services. As everyone has different childcare requirements, we would urge you to call us to discuss your personal needs, and we will do our utmost to provide you with the best solution for you and your family, depending on availability.
In-house Nannies
We have one in-house member of staff. Tiffany who is a fully qualified primary school teacher and has all relevant qualifications to look after children. Dependent on the ages of the children, Tiffany will be able to look after your children whether it is full time care, flexible hours or just babysitting on the chalet hosts night off. If you do require Tiffany for your holiday (how little or many hours) please contact us directly before your visit to ensure that Tiffany is available.
Freelance Nannies
As the requirement for childcare vary week on week, we also have a pool of freelance nannies in the local area who you are able to employ for your specific needs. These nannies have been fully vetted by Powder N Shine and are fully qualified to look after all ages of children and babies.
Nursery / Crèche
For children aged 3 months to 30 months, we work directly with a nursery in Les Menuires situated at La Croisette. This is run by ESF Les Menuires and they have a special environment for children with fully qualified professionals who are dedicated to your little ones and have a range of activities available for them. This nursery is fully approved by the state governing bodies.

Reservation is mandatory as there are limited places. For children under 20 months a medical certificate is required stating that your child can be looked after in a nursery environment (with other children) and at an altitude of over 1800 metres.
RESTAURANT – Closed Saturdays
There is a restaurant specially created for young children where your child will dine under the watchful eye of our play assistants.
Mini-Club (for children aged between 2.5 to 5 years old) Activities WITHOUT Skiing
There are two ‘Piou-Piou’ clubs in Les Bruyeres and La Croisette (Les Menuires – accessible in 5 minutes by free shuttle bus). The non-skiing activities children can undertake here include snowshoes (La Croisette only), sledging, snow games and learning about nature and the environment. Snacks are included in the price and there is also a children’s restaurant (except on Saturdays)
