Rock Climbing in the Alps during summer is a fantastic sport for a multitude of reasons, among them:
- The sense of adventure and freedom
- The physical challenge it offers
- The breathtaking views of the surrounding environment
- It offers a scope for development of leadership qualities, coordination capabilities and a feeling of self-sufficiency.
As passionate climbers, we understand that climbing in the fresh mountain air is in a different league to the indoor climbing wall. Fortunately, the Belleville valley has some excellent climbing areas for all levels.
Whether you are an experienced rock climber or a beginner looking for lessons this summer, it is all possible here in the Alps. There is a fantastic climbing school with fully qualified instructors in Les Menuires which hosts lessons every week for children, and adults. They also have courses which consist of 4 or 5 half days for individuals or groups who would like to get to either get to grips with climbing or looking to perfect their skills. Private lessons are also available.
