Powder N Shine are proud to present the Reberty Village team for Winter 2011/12:
BRENDAN PRATT, Head Chef in Le Chamois
Having previously worked at 3 of the top restaurants in the UK (The Fat Duck, The Waterside Inn – both 3* Michelin restaurants and The Ritz, London), Brendan is a superb addition to the Powder N Shine team. He has been acknowledged for his work and talent of menu planning and execution, training and creativity through his culinary awards. He has won and been nominated for many individual awards including West Australian Young Chef of the Year 2009. We are delighted to have Brendan on board and he will be Head Chef in Le Chamois chalet in Reberty Village.
“I am a young, dedicated and professional chef, who loves travelling and outdoor sports! I absolutely love the mountains and snow, and the freedom that I get when out skiing. I can’t think of a better way to spend my winter other than cooking, entertaining and skiing.”

TIFFANY JOLLY, Chalet Host in Le Chamois
Tiffany specialises in Early Childhood Education and has focused in this area for over 4 years. Her expertise in this discipline, coupled with prior hospitality work experience, has given her excellent skills in dealing with people of all ages. Tiffany has in abundance all of the qualities Powder N Shine look for in a Chalet Host – professionalism, organisation, friendliness and empathy and we are very much looking forward to working with Tiffany this coming winter.
“The feeling I get when I am in the snow and on the mountains is unexplainable, especially the adrenalin rush when hitting the slopes. The possibilities are endless, exploring, skiing, meeting new people and the challenges of experiencing another culture.”
RICHARD PIKE & EMILY GREEN, Chalet Hosts in Flocon des Neiges
Richard and Emily are the Chalet Couple that will be working alongside Francesca in Flocon des Neiges. They are both solicitors “in real life” and have spent the last 5 years building up considerable expertise in the field. Now is the perfect time for them to take some well-earned time out and their mutual love of all things Alpine has brought them to Reberty Village with Powder N Shine.
Richard has skied the Three Valleys numerous times and so has an extensive knowledge of the area to share with guests. He qualified as a Ski Instructor in Canada, having skied for his University ski team so has formidable skiing skills to complement his natural drive, hard-working nature and charisma.
“Meeting and entertaining all kinds of different people and making sure they have a great time is what I love to do most in life. I love all sports that involve being in the mountains, especially skiing and the 3 Valleys is one of my favourite places to ski: I’ve lost count of the number of amazing weeks I’ve had here and I’ll be sure to help our guests find the best spots and the best snow.”
Emily has somewhat less experience than Richard on the snow (understandably!), but shares a similar love for the mountains, having grown up in Scotland and more recently skied in the 3 Valleys. She, like Richard, combines the Powder N Shine core values of approachability, reliability and professionalism, all topped off with a friendly smile.
“When I discovered that skiing meant a combination of sun, snow, good food, good wine and good company all in the midst of some of the most spectacular mountain scenery in the world, I was sold! I am a people person with a love of travel and meeting people from all cultures and walks of life. What better way to indulge all of this than by spending a winter in the Alps with Powder N Shine?!”
